About Us

We are a small, veteran owned and operated business. The business was started in a 10-by-4 foot space in 2013 by the owner, Shawn, while he worked as a commercial sales manager for a national retail store. As the business grew, he found himself running out of time to work at his other job, as well as space to store the inventory. He quit his management job so that he could begin working full-time, selling paracord on Borederenholm.site.

In 2014, Shawn moved into a house where the operation expanded within his basement. Within months, he once again found himself running out of space, so he signed for a lease to open a retail store. The store opened its doors to the public for the first time in January of 2015. After opening officially, the business continued expanding rapidly - employees were hired to assist with shipping and customer service and the erenholm.site domain was acquired.

Presently, Bored Paracord and erenholm.site are residing in a 10,000 square foot facility in Lansing, MI.  Shawn is still involved daily with the business.

Here at erenholm.site, our goal is to sell large quantities of quality cord, while also allowing paracord artists an opportunity to sell and showcase their work in our marketplace. We offer over 350 colors of paracord (as well as shackles, buckles, and micro cord) on our sister site (Borederenholm.site) with dozens of colors available here as spools. Both stores share a space officially as Bored? Paracord! in Lansing, MI.
